"Malcolm provided an excellent standard of service; for example, attentive to the small details in ensuring the paintwork to the lounge wall was 100% before signing off; and taking the time and trouble to take away a bench to be painted - all in all transforming our apartment at a very competitive cost. As well as listening to our requirements, and finding creative solutions, he was a pleasure to spend time with. I recommend his services without reservation."

"Malcolm carried out a few different jobs for us including plumbing work, joinery, replaced a garden gate, repaired brickwork on a garden wall and paving stones. Malcolm was reliable and trustworthy. He turned up on time and on days we had arranged. He explained everything clearly, did the work when he said he would and at a fair price. We would definitely recommend Homeworks and also use Malcolm in the future."

"Malcolm restored our wooden casement windows and door frame to a high standard for a good price. He was honest in his assesment of the work and also of the odd issue which needed to be resolved when working on the windows. He was a pleasure to have around and worth the money for his standard of work."

"We used Homeworks predominantly for the restoration of our Edwardian sash windows, although Malcolm is skilled in many other areas of work from general repairs to bathroom installation. Malcolm is very trustworthy and ensures that his work is completed to a very high standard. You get what you pay for, and Malcolm will do a very good job for a very fair price."

"After owning my first house for 5 years, one of my bathrooms was falling apart due to the poor job the previous owner had done; there was water leaking everywhere. I contacted Malcolm through a friend and he provided me with good advice and a competitive quote to restore the bathroom to full working order.
As a designer myself, I was very impressed with Malcolm's quality of workmanship and attention to detail, his use of good quality materials and fixings, and his ability to work to a budget. I believe Malcolm delivered the best solution for my needs and will definitely use him again and recommend him to others. A trustworthy and honest tradesman."

"Malcolm carried out a complete exterior paint job of all our wooden windows, doors, fencing and stone work.
We had recently had the front windows renovated replacing the old rotten sash windows casements with double glazed wooden sash windows, in keeping with our Victorian period property – we wanted someone who would be sympathetic to our needs to ensure the windows were painted correctly, especially having spent a great deal of money to have them changed and also have a good eye for detail.
…..Malcolm was exactly the right person for the job. He is extremely skilled at what he does, paid attention to the finer details and ensured the job was not only completed in a timely manner but was done to the very highest of standards.
Not only were we impressed with his workmanship but also how reliable, trustworthy and tidy he was. Malcolm was always open and honest when additional elements to the overall job arose; explicitly communicating exactly why and what would need doing additionally.
He was a pleasure to have around whilst he was working at our property, causing little disruption and we’ll certainly be using him for future work that we have planned around our property."
